Looking for somewhere to stay after the Veteran Car Run?

The Team at Pelham House are gearing up for the arrival of a huge number of Classic vehicles on the weekend of 3rd-4th November.

The annual RAC London to Brighton event for truly classic cars (which are all OVER 108 years old!) gives a fantastic spectacle for participants and spectators alike - and passing these cars on the main A23 is an adventure of tooting and waving.

Starting at Hyde Park, London early on Saturday morning, most of these classic cars take until mid afternoon to complete the course, which is only a 54 mile journey to Brighton, officially finishing in Preston Park but most vehicles then pootle along to the seafront.

It's not a race per se, as it's kind of a time trial, and all the cars are limited to an average speed of 20mph over the course of the race! the reward for getting to Brighton is a medal awarded to all who reach the city centre before 4.30pm.
